On occasion of his solo presentation of Monolith at Berlin Weekly (December 2017/ January 2018) he has curated the group exhibition Auftakt / Kickoff, which was running from January 19 – 20. Marc von der Hocht invited numerous artists. Among works by Nevin Aladağ, Daniel Knorr, Bram Braam and Jan Muche and others also works of following artists from Semjon Contemporary were shown: Colin Ardley, Ute Essig, Dittmar Krüger, Dirk Rathke and Ursula Sax.
