On Thursday, August 23 at 7 pm, Semjon H. N. Semjon will guide a tour through the summer exhibition Sommerfrische / Summer Retreat. The events starts sharp on time.

Gil Shachar – The Cast Whale Project has started


The art project is becoming reality!
A dead humpback whale stranded on the shore of South Africa and is suitable for the artist’s project. Gil Shachar received the permittence by the South Africain ministry of environment for a limited time to cast a mold from a stranded whale. It is meanwhile the fourth whale, which unfortunately stranded death in South Africa. As soon as this whale stranded the stand by team in this area, which got instructed by the artist and is experienced with large scale projects, started to build the mold. Gil Shachar is on the site since a couple of days.

Window Shopping – Summer Retreat (Group exhibition)


If you are still in Berlin or planning to come to Berlin, we are offering the exhibition Sommerfrische / Summer Retreat. However, we have reduced summer opening hours:
Wed – Sat, August 8 – 11, from 3 – 6 pm
Wed – Sat, Agust 22 – 25, from 3 -6 pm and by appt. (+40-30-784 12 91)
The gallery stays closed in the week from August 14 – 18, as well as from
August 28 – September 6.

Flute concert by Barbara Hill


On Thursday June 28 at 8 pm, the flutist Barbara Hill will give a concerto piccolo with music pieces among others by contemporary Japanese composers:
Itsuki-no-Komoriuta (Japanese folk song), Haru no Umi by M. Miyagi, Chin-Chin Chidori vy H. Konoe, a.o.

The concerto piccolo will be held on occasion of the two solo exhibitions by Japanese artist Hitomi Uchikura (Lumière) and Takayuki Daikoku (Folded Drawings)
